Trash it Out

What a day! I had been in the laboratory, busy with lots of samples for hours, which didn't seem to relieve me any sooner time in view when one of the automatic machines stopped working. So I placed calls across to the Engineer, who directed me to check different sectors of the machine but to no avail. I was quite disturbed about the issue since we had to work manually. One day, I engaged my thoughts on the machine. I got to where the machine was, I scanned through its probes and other places, only for me to discover clogs, and as long as those clogs were there, the machine wouldn't function properly.
Hence, I got swab and cleaned it, removed those unwanted materials blocking the probes which were hindering the machine from working; Boom! it started working and that eased up my stress.
Few days later, I pondered over this incidence that happened and saw a relationship with our daily living. I realized that if such unwanted clogs are not removed from our lives, we also cannot function effectively. It becomes a baggage that keeps drawing us back and stagnating us in a position when we should be progressing.
You must have to let go of those clogs or better still-- thrash it out!
WHAT CLOG REPRESENT
Here are a few things that I tag clogs, which should be thrashed asap.
1 Bad character and habits,
2. Past experiences
3. Wrong mindset
4. Low self worth
5. Repeated mistakes
6. Indiscipline
7. Laziness; and the likes.
These are little foxes that spoil the vine. They jeopardize you health wise, both mentally and physically, slow you down and waste your time.
However, dealing with these obstacles is not an easy job, it takes determination, willingness and right approach to achieve this.
STEPS TO TAKE :
1. Identify the fox. Nothing changes on its own. If you don't know there is a problem, there will be no avenue for change, so you must identify the problem first. However, don't be comfortable harbouring it .
2. Be receptive to change. You've got to be ready to change for the better. Identify the problem and seek for strategies that will enable you change.
3. Adopt substitute for those bad habits or qualities; They are difficult to eliminate but you can substitute or replace them. For instance, if you exhibit low self worth, you can engage in positive word affirmation and develop yourself skillfully in areas you are incompetent.
4. Stay away from things that triggers those "foxes". Bad energies.
5. Surround yourself with factors that boost or trigger you to become a better version of yourself. This could be mentors, right contacts and right decisions, as well as right approaches to handling life challenges.

If you can do away with this baggages that weigh you down, you can be a better version of yourself. Thrash it out!
